In my last post on Udaipur, many of you noticed the lack of food photos. So I dug into my hard disk to find some and in the process found more photos I thought were worth sharing.
That's one of my favorite food stall from my hometown Galiakot. Boiled black chickpeas and potatoes are cooked in a tangy tamarind based gravy, ended with addition of suspicious looking red chilly water. Best thing in the world!
With a country of largest tea drinkers in the world, its not suprising if you see tea stalls at almost every nook and corner. There is nothing a hot cuppa of tea can't get you through in India - traffic, noise pollution, congestion is not a problem!
Roasted unshelled peanuts, roasted shelled peanuts, fried and salted peanuts, roasted chickpeas, popcorn, India gives you every opportunity to eat while on the streets. There is just no other way.
I'll leave you with other photos to enjoy, hope you like them!
