My name is Kulsum, born and brought up an Indian Bohra (read more about what bohra is here ) household in Kuwait. My mom is a fantabulous cook and everyone I have ever known loves her food. For as long as I remember I have always loved food but apart from the Indian food mom cooked at home, I didn't experience much of other regional Indian food. I always had a thing for dine outs and having lived and traveled extensively in Middle East, I also have a love for Middle Eastern cuisine. But the twist is, I fell in love with a man (known on the blog as M) who is born and brought up in countless states all over India, didn't know or care about Middle Eastern cuisine and hates pasta. The guy can't tell the difference between penne and macaroni but he sure as hell knows all the different kind of Indian flat breads and vegetables. He comes up with Indian dishes request which I wouldn't know about or care for making at home. But I do because the way to man's heart is his stomach (that's half the truth). While I try to be a ideal Indian wife, I can't give up on everything I love. Over the years, I have made him love things he didn't before and I have come to learn so much more about Indian food. Basically we both keep each other entertained. We are now settled in Kuwait, for me this is home and for M its just another place we are in to earn a living.
Blogging has also introduced me to the world of food photography. Before this I would probably spend a minute to figure out where the click button is on any given camera. Proudly, I now know where that button is and a couple of more things. I hope you enjoy what you see!

Having a full time job and being months away from finishing my masters, blogging is often irregular, but the food will always be delicious.
